Thanks a Latte

The Stampin' Up! year is coming to a close, and I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting me and helping me achieve my biggest goal this year! You are amazing!

I grabbed this card sample from Stampin' Up! It's perfect for today's post. Not only does it express-o lol how I feel, it's a great card to demonstrate how to use Designer Series Paper (dsp) on a card, and features the Coffee Cafe stamp set. I say this, because starting on Sunday, October 1 through October 15, we are having a Sale! Select dsp will be Buy 3 Get One Free, and Select Coordinating Stamp Sets and Note Cards & Envelopes will be 15% off! Fast Fuse will also be Get 2 Free Refills with purchase! This is an amazing sale. The dsp will continue to be on sale through the end of October.

This would be a great time to gather with friends and do a paper share. You could each then have a sampling of 4 (or more!) different packs of dsp to get creative with. So many possibilities!

We will be using some of the Designer Series Papers that are included in the sale in my Quick & Cute class on Monday, October 2. I still have a couple of seats. You can see all my classes and events on my website, and rsvp from there, if you'd like to join us!

All of the details of this incredible sale will post to my website on Sunday, October 1. www.debbied.stampinup.net

If you have any questions, please contact me. I will be happy to help.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!

Sheltering Tree

I love how you can pull stamp sets from the Annual Catalog and create projects for so many different occasions. I created this Fall themed card using nothing really fall related.

Choosing fall colors, really made this card come together. I used Crushed Curry for the base, a layer of Early Espresso, and a layer of Crumb Cake, stamped with the Burlap Background. I cut the Oak Leaf image out of the Crumb Cake layer, cut another one from Cajun Craze, and embossed it with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

I stamped the tree from Sheltering Tree with Early Espresso Ink on Very Vanilla, and positioned it to show through the leaf cut-out. Tied some Linen Thread around the leaf, and adhered it with Dimensionals. I finished my card by adding the sentiment from Sheltering Tree.

If you like this card, and would like to learn how to make it, we'll be making it in my next Quick & Cute Class on Monday, October 2nd. Visit my website to sign up and see all the details for all my classes and events.

Guy Greetings

I have to remind myself to create masculine cards along with all the beautiful frills and florals. It really is super easy with this set; Guy Greetings!

I love the classic car, the hats, the shoes, well, all of it! This is one of those sets that you can grab and create your card or project using just one set. I also love how well it pairs with the Sparkle Embossing Folder too. It looks like pressed metal. Very masculine, and not sparkly at all!

We created this card in my Quick & Cute card class this month. We make 5 cards each month, and when I remember, I include a masculine card in the mix! If you would like more information about my monthly class, or ordering any of the products seen here, visit my website at www.debbied.stampinup.net

Stampin' Up! Blog Hop ~ Anything But the Holidays with Holiday Products

I have joined a Blog Hop! That means you can "hop" around from my blog to other Demonstrator's blogs to see what projects they have to share. We were challenged to use new products from the Holiday Catalog to create projects for Anything But the Holidays!

I created a wedding card using the Labels to Love stamp set and the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I did have to get a little creative with this and only inked up the word celebrate, and the word love from these two stamps from the Labels to Love set. I cut the swirl from the new Champagne Foil Sheets, and added a couple Metallic Enamel Dots to finish it off.

You can find these products in the Annual Catalog, and in the new Holiday Catalog. If you haven't received your copy yet, let me know. I'll get one to you right away. Until then, you can see it on my website ~ www.debbied.stampinup.net.

Thanks for stopping by & have fun hopping!
