Amazing Country Floral Embossing Folder!

The Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is one of the new items in the 2nd Release Sale-a-Bration brochure. It is indeed dynamic, amazing, and my favorite new item!

My card for you today was inspired by another Demonstrator. Her card was completely different, but I loved the combination of the stem, heart and bird. 

This card could be for Valentine's Day, and doesn't even use a Valentine set. Or, if you are in need of a Sympathy card, it would work nicely for that. It could be sent as a random Thinking of You, just to let someone know you care. You don't really need a special reason to send a card. Just send them to brighten someone's day!

Sale-a-Bration 2nd Release!

One of the perks of being a Demonstrator is having the opportunity to see and get products before they go "live" to the public. During our Pre-Order in December for the Occasions Catalog, we were fortunate to be able to earn first round SAB for free with our purchases, just like when the promotion began in January, another awesome perk for Demonstrators! This gives us time to make samples, and plan and prepare for classes and events.

The 2nd Release Items were a little different, with a much shorter time frame. They were introduced to us on February 1, giving us the option to purchase them, or wait until they go live on the 15th, and earn them for free with a qualifying purchase. I decided to purchase 2 of the 3 new items in the 2nd release, so I could start sharing them with you. 

I couldn't resist this beautiful bundle ~ Painted Seasons. This bundle is available beginning February 15 with a $100 order (before shipping & tax). It includes the Painted Seasons stamp set, one of the new DistInktive style stamps, and a package of the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper. This paper is gorgeous! It includes 12 sheets; 3 each of 4 different hand-painted designs. There is imagery for each season. It is double-sided, with small coordinating patterns on the back side.

My card features two of the patterns from the Designer Series Paper. Check out those succulents! To stamp the coordinating succulents, I inked up the stamp, then with my sponge dauber lightly dabbed Poppy Parade just on the tips. Also, take note of the use of Framelits to cut them out. These will be available in March during the Sale-a-Bration Coordination Promotion. And those three little leaves ~ There are 3 Framelits! You can cut all 3 out at the same time! How great is that?!

The sentiment is from another SAB set, Part of My Story. This is a set of 6 great sentiments that can be earned with a $50 purchase (before shipping & tax).

Sale-a-Bration Coordination!

I have some very exciting news!

I don't normally share news so early, but I'm super excited about this upcoming promotion!

"Free" Range Rooster

If you know me at all, you know that I love chickens and roosters. I don't own any real ones, but I do have "grand" chickens! My son and daughter-in-law recently added chickens to their family, and they have just begun to lay eggs. I'm anxious to try out their home-grown eggs!

Any way, when I saw the Home to Roost stamp set in the Sale-a-Bration brochure, I couldn't wait to place my $50 order to get this set Free! We've had chicken and rooster sets in the past, but in my opinion, this is the best rooster that we've ever had! 

I CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) this card from another Demonstrator. I omitted the ribbon and twine that she had added to simplify it a bit. I just love the Buffalo Check Background, still available from the Holiday Catalog, and the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, also carrying over from the Holiday Catalog.

I've colored the rooster simply using my Light Crumb Cake, Light Real Red Stampin' Blends, and added a bit of Light Pool Party shading to "ground" the rooster.

I've left the sentiment off for now. I can easily add it when I decide who the card will be going to, and what the occasion is.

Amazing Life

The Amazing Life stamp set found in the Occasions Catalog is an amazing new photopolymer stamp set! It has 17 sentiments and images for amazing versatility!

The first image here, shows the Take & Make we were given at OnStage in Orlando. A Take & Make is a project to "take" and "make" when you get home. After I made my project at home, I fell in love with it! I decided to adapt it to a standard size card, the size I typically use for my classes. This is the second image shown here.

With so many images and sentiments in this set, you can create a variety of cards or other stamped projects for lots of different occasions.
