Happy Birthday Cupcake

I love it when a stamp set coordinates with punches and framelits . The Sketched Birthday set coordinates with the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, used here, the Apothecary Accents Framelit Dies and the Bitty Banners Framelit Dies. There are 8 stamps in this set, and 5 of them can either be punched out or cut with the Framilt Dies, making layering so simple!

This is a fun card that can be made in many different color combinations. It can be presented to kids and adults, male or female ~ so versatile!

The banners are hand-cut from three of the new In-Colors; Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Strawberry Slush. I used my Big Shot to emboss them with the Perfect Polka Dot, and Chevron Embossing Folders. I embossed both edges of the Whisper White Cardstock with the Scallop Border from the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder pair.

My new obsession ~ Washi Tape ~ is the Melon Mambo print strip across the top of the card. This self-adhesive tape is fabulous. Each set comes with three different patterns. This is from the Gingham Garden set. It is also very forgiving. If you don't get it right the first time, you can peel it up and try again. Since my ends don't wrap around the cardstock, I did use my Bone Folder to burnish them a bit to make sure they wouldn't peel up on their own.

Do you need greetings stamps for your cards? There's only a few more days left to Grab Your Greetings! Select one, two or all three stamps sets at 25% off. This is a great deal on some of the most popular greetings. Check them out HERE. You can place your order in my online store, while you're there, or contact me and I'd be happy to add the sets you'd like to the order I have going in before the end of the month.

I place orders either at the beginning or end of each month. You can contact me anytime, whether you need several things for a big project, or just one item, I can simply add everything you need to my current order, and contact you when it arrives.

Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Stamping ~

New Products!

Today's card ~ Yes, I have a project to share! ~ features some of the fabulous new products in the new Annual Catalog. First and foremost, a couple of the new In-Colors. They are all luscious!

The base of the card is Baked Brown Sugar and the butterfly is Strawberry Slush. The blue is a favorite  from the past, returning to join the Subtles Collection, Soft Sky. I wheeled the top third of the card with the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel with Versa Mark to create a subtle background. I cut a Paper Doily in half and layered it on the bottom third of the card. The Soft Sky section was embossed with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, and inked around the edges with Baked Brown Sugar Classic Ink to give it a more vintage look.

The pink check is some of the new Designer Washi Tape. I LOVE this stuff! It is self adhesive tape, and comes in 6 different designs ~ so far. It is a great way to add a pop of color. I hope to see more designs in the Holiday Catalog ~ wink, wink! The sentiment is from the new Label Love Stamp Set, and coordinates with the new Artisan Label Punch. This is an awesome set. There are 7 stamps, that are all the same shape so you just need one punch to go with it! Here is a close up to show the details.

The button is from the new Very Vintage Designer Buttons. These are a great value. You get 24 buttons, 8 each of 3 designs for just $5.95! The butterfly is the Bitty Butterfly Punch that was introduced in the Spring Catalog. So happy to see that she fluttered right into the new Annual Catalog.

Still don't have a new Annual Catalog? Contact me and I'll get one to you immediately! While you're at it, you'll want to reserve your own personal copy of the new Holiday Catalog being released in August. I've had a sneak peek ~ I think you're going to Love it!
