Happy Birthday Cupcake

I love it when a stamp set coordinates with punches and framelits . The Sketched Birthday set coordinates with the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, used here, the Apothecary Accents Framelit Dies and the Bitty Banners Framelit Dies. There are 8 stamps in this set, and 5 of them can either be punched out or cut with the Framilt Dies, making layering so simple!

This is a fun card that can be made in many different color combinations. It can be presented to kids and adults, male or female ~ so versatile!

The banners are hand-cut from three of the new In-Colors; Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Strawberry Slush. I used my Big Shot to emboss them with the Perfect Polka Dot, and Chevron Embossing Folders. I embossed both edges of the Whisper White Cardstock with the Scallop Border from the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder pair.

My new obsession ~ Washi Tape ~ is the Melon Mambo print strip across the top of the card. This self-adhesive tape is fabulous. Each set comes with three different patterns. This is from the Gingham Garden set. It is also very forgiving. If you don't get it right the first time, you can peel it up and try again. Since my ends don't wrap around the cardstock, I did use my Bone Folder to burnish them a bit to make sure they wouldn't peel up on their own.

Do you need greetings stamps for your cards? There's only a few more days left to Grab Your Greetings! Select one, two or all three stamps sets at 25% off. This is a great deal on some of the most popular greetings. Check them out HERE. You can place your order in my online store, while you're there, or contact me and I'd be happy to add the sets you'd like to the order I have going in before the end of the month.

I place orders either at the beginning or end of each month. You can contact me anytime, whether you need several things for a big project, or just one item, I can simply add everything you need to my current order, and contact you when it arrives.
