We had our quarterly Stampin' Up! meeting this morning. It is always so much fun and full of inspiration. We did a swap where each person designed one card and prepared enough kits for everyone else to make it. This is such a great way to swap. We actually get to stamp, visit with friends, and we all went home with 12 completed cards to add to our samples. It was hard to decide which card to share with you. They were all so cute. This card was designed by Michelle. We had the choice of Pretty in Pink or Bashful Blue with Chocolate Chip. I love these colors, and this is one of my favorite stamp sets. The background looks like printed paper, but it is actually the Paisley Background stamp stamped in Chocolate Chip on Chocolate Chip cardstock. She also showed us a fun technique with our ribbon. This is the Pink Taffeta Ribbon with the Chocolate Chip Poly Twill Ribbon layered on top! Thanks Michelle for this great idea. We stamped the image with Stazon and used the Watercolor Wonder Crayons and Blender Pens to color it in.My grand daughters are still here, the sun is shining at the moment, so I think we'll go outside to play for a while before the rain moves in again.
