This is especially true right now. For the moment, you can still order from the Last Chance Lists; Stamp Sets, Accessories, Decor Elements, and the 2009/2010 Idea Book & Catalog. Then, the moment the clock strikes noon MT on July 1, 2010, we can begin ordering from the New 2010/2011 Idea Book & Catalog. This is such an exciting time! New stamp sets, DSP, Accessories, I Love it all! If you are a person who likes to order online, I just want to let you know that Online Ordering will not be available until noon MT. We as Demonstrators can't order until then either, so we will all be anxiously awaiting the magic moment.
I have been working on a Fancy Folds class, and I want to share one of the cards I came up with. The patterned paper is from the Island Oasis DSP, in the Summer Mini. All of the stamps are from Elements of Style, also in the mini. I know I've said it before, but I really Love this set. I randomly stamped the swirl on Whisper White Cardstock with Old Olive Classic Ink. Then I stamped the humming bird with Tempting Turquoise, cut it out and used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop him up. One of the new items in the new catalog is Self Adhesive Rhinestone Jewels. These are not actually SU, but they are the same size, 3mm, as the ones that are going to be available. I just happened to have some, and I needed a little "something", so I used the ones that I had.
Here is another picture showing the "fancy" fold. This card is made to fit in the Medium 5-3/4" x 4-3/8" Envelope. We will be making 5 cards in this class. They may not be the exact cards I'll be showing here, but they will all have a different Fancy Fold. I'll be posting more information on my Stampin' Up! website, or contact me if you're interested in attending.
Don't forget to check out the Last Chance List. There might be something on there that you really need! Check out the Clearance Rack too. There are some great bargains there! This is also the last day to join my Team for only $99! Contact me if you want to take advantage of the Mini Starter Kit & become a part of my Team of Talented Stampers!
Thanks for visiting ~ Happy Stamping & Scrapping!

Artistic Etchings Amour
I'm sorry I missed you yesterday. I woke up with a horrible headache and spent most of the day trying to get rid of it. My card today was created with a new stamp set; Artistic Etchings. I knew when I saw this set that I wanted to use it to make a collage.
I used Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, two of my new favorites, and Naturals Ivory. I stamped off with the medallion stamp using Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink and the key stamp with Daffodil Delight, before stamping on my Top Note. The crowns are stamped directly on to the cardstock with Daffodil Delight Classic Ink. I stamped the tower with Early Espresso twice, and cut one out to layer on top with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I wanted a distressed look so I got out my Log Cabin Smooch Spritz. I love the look these spritzes give the cardstock. I love them so much, I think I got a little carried away! I'm still practicing, they are so much fun.
I have the new catalogs, so if you want a copy, just let me know and I'll get it to you right away.
Tomorrow is the last day to order from the current catalog and the Last Chance Lists. Make sure you get everything you need before it's gone for good!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Medallion
I am loving this color combination ~ it's just cheery to me!
This is the Medallion Background Stamp. I stamped it three times, once each with Pumpkin Pie, Riding Hood Red, and Pacific Point Classic Ink. I'm so happy that they're bringing these two past In-Colors back! Then, I just used my 1-3/4" and 3/4" Circle Punches to punch out the part I wanted to highlight. I layered those & added a Half Pearl from the Pretties Kit. The Pretties Kit is one of the items on the Last Chance List.
I don't think I can make a card without ribbon. I had to add some 5/8" Whisper White Satin Ribbon. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. This is a fabulous set! As you can tell, I use it a lot because there are so many great words. It's a set of 24, so you've got something for just about any occasion.
We are getting down to the wire for ordering from the current catalog and the Last Chance Lists. There are only a couple of days left. Make sure if there is anything you need, you need to get your order in before midnight MT June 30. Look those Wish Lists over one last time & don't forget, you can order online directly from my website anytime!
We have a busy weekend ~ two family functions. Hope you enjoy your weekend!

Colors, Colors, Colors!
Guess who visited me yesterday. Yep, that Man in Brown! One of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is that we get the opportunity to pre-order a few of the new products before they are actually available. I was trying to be good and not go crazy and order everything. Well, after receiving my first "very good girl" order, and playing with the very few things that I got, I couldn't help myself. I just HAD to have ALL of the new colors! Aren't they gorgeous! Every time I think I've chosen my new favorite, another one "speaks" to me.
I do have a card for you too. I had fun with this one! These colors just scream summer to me. I am loving the Pacific Point and Pumpkin Pie combo. I also threw in some Bashful Blue. This is the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set. It is really a very versatile set. I stamped it a couple of times first with Bashful Blue Classic Ink, and then with Pacific Point. The patterned paper is from the Island Oasis DSP in the Summer Mini. The Butterfly is just Pumpkin Pie 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon tied with Linen Thread. I tied a couple of knots to form his head. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
I should have my boxes of the New 2010/2011 Idea Book & Catalog in just a couple of days. Please let me know now, if you would like your very own copy so I can get it to you as soon as possible. In the mean time, take a look at the Last Chance Lists so you can be sure you get all of the items that you just HAVE to have, before they're gone for good!
I appreciate your visits! Until next time~

Thinking of You
If you get the Paper Crafts magazine, then you may recognize this card. No, I didn't get published. I was inspired by a card featured in the magazine. I used different stamps and similar colors, but basically made the same card. The floral stamp is from the Messages From Mom Stamp Set. I used Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, and Melon Mambo Classic Ink. These colors are all part of the New Core Colors in the New 2010/2011 Idea Book & Catalog being released on July 1. The Thinking of You stamp is from one of my all time favorite sentiment sets; Sincere Salutations. It is a set of 8, a very nice font, and has something for almost any occasion. I've also used the Bitty Buttons, and the Itty Bitty Punch Pack to punch buttons from coordinating cardstock.
These items are available now in the Summer Mini Catalog. There is also a coordinating stamp set; Itty Bitty Bits that is just too adorable when used with the clear buttons and punches. All items in the mini catalog are available through August 31, 2010. Some of these things are being carried over to the big catalog, but some are not. So, take a look at it and let me know if there is anything you need.

A Productive Day!
I had a very productive day today. I made several cards & couldn't decide which one to share with you first. I really Love this one so it gets to be showcased first.
I have a new found love ~ the Presto Patterns Specialty DSP. I used a small piece in the Father's Day card. This time I tried using my Stampin' Sponges to add the color. I Love the results! I used Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi and Marina Mist Classic Ink. The cardstock is glossy, and takes the color beautifully. I dabbed my sponge directly into my ink pad and then rubbed it onto the cardstock. The more I rubbed, the darker the color.
I used a different fold with this card too. Instead of having the fold being on the traditional 5-1/2" side, I cut my cardstock vertically and have the fold on the top. Another fun feature is the scallop edge on the bottom and one side of the front of the card. I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch for this. I've added the beautiful White Organza Ribbon and accented the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set with the Scallop Oval Punch.
There are just a few days left in this Stampin' Up! year. Wednesday, June 30 is the last day to order from the 2009/2010 Idea Book & Catalog. Be sure to check the Last Chance Lists and get any of the items that may be on your Wish List before they are gone for good! Check out the Clearance Rack too for some awesome bargains. Some items are priced as much as 60% off! June 30 is also the last day to take advantage of the Mini Starter Kit. Dad
Here's another Father's Day card for you. This one uses a lot of new product & two old tools!
The New Early Espresso Cardstock, is really yummy. I love the richness of this new color! I also used Crumb Cake (formerly known as Kraft), and Very Vanilla Cardstock. The patterned paper with the words is from the Presto Patterns Specialty DSP. Now this is some fun paper! The actual paper appears white with white glossy designs that you reveal with ink or paint for an emboss resist look. I inked up my Brayer (old tool #1), with Early Espresso Classic Ink, rolled it across the paper & presto ~ out pops the design! You can also use the Smooch Spritz with these great papers. I'm going to have to try that next.
The background was created by running the Crumb Cake Cardstock through the Crimper (old tool #2), and then using the Ink Direct to Paper Technique. Just lightly rub your ink pad over the grooves & edges in a couple of areas to add a distressed look. I stamped my Wood Grain Backgound Stamp on Very Vanilla Cardstock with Early Espresso Classic Ink, crimped it and then distressed it with Crumb Cake Classic Ink.
The word Dad was cut with my Big Shot & the Timeless Type Alphabet. The tags are from the Tiny Tags Stamp Set, punched out with the Jewelry Tag Punch & tied on with Linen Thread. The brad is from the Designer Circle Brads Assortment and is being discontinued. The On Board Cog can be found in the Summer Mini. I just sponged on the color using my Early Espresso Classic Ink. The twill tape is the 3/8" Twill Tape and is the only size that will carry over to the New 2010/2011 Idea Book & Catalog.
There are only a couple more weeks to order items from the Retiring List. Be sure to check it out, and while you're there you'll want to look at the Clearance Rack. There are some really great bargains! Remember if ordering online, choose your Demonstrator to get the best pricing.
Thanks for visiting ~ I hope you enjoy your Father's Day.

Retirement Party/Class
What a lot of Stampin' Fun! We held our Retirement Party/Class last week and had a great time sharing various projects! My project for the class was a 12x12 2-Page Layout. I've always wanted to do a layout using The Write Stuff DSP, and since it's one of the items that is retiring the end of June, that's what I decided to use. It's a great assortment of patterned paper & die cut journaling blocks. It has a "school" feel to it, but I wanted to show that it could be used for something other than just school pictures. I love taking pictures of my flowers & I thought it would be fun to use those.
I used my Big Shot and the Timeless Type Alphabet to create my title from one of the patterned papers. I also incorporated a small print from the Crushed Curry Patterns DSP. These are 12x12 packs of paper. They come with 12 sheets of one color; 2 each of 6 double-sided designs. They are great for your scrapbook pages, because the small prints coordinate so well with the patterns in the other Designer Series Papers. The current colors & designs will be retiring, so if these are something on your Wish List, stock up now, before they are gone!
Check out the lists of Retiring Stamp Sets, Accessories, & Home Decor. These items are while supplies last, and many of them are already gone. While you're there, look at the Clearance Rack. There are several great items on sale for up to 60% off. Remember you can order online, any time. Just be sure to choose a Demonstrator to get the preferred pricing and save 10% on your online order.
Here are some pictures of some the ladies enjoying making their projects.

Another Father's Day Card
Here's another Father's Day Card for you. This one uses a technique that I just love; Inking Your Texturz Plate. This is the Harlequin design from Backgrounds 1. To achieve this look, simply rub your ink pad over the plate, layer the cardstock you wish to texturize, a scrap of cardstock to keep it from slipping, the Silicone Rubber Pad and then the Impressions Pad. Run it through the Big Shot and enjoy the results! This also works great with the Embossing Folders. After doing this technique, I just rinse all the pieces with water & dry them off.
The Father's Day sentiment is from the All Holidays Stamp Set. I'm happy to say that this set will remain in the new catalog. It is a great set because it covers several holidays, birthday, thank you & more!
Just a couple of reminders:
1) The Last Chance List has posted. Accessories & Home Decor items are while supplies last. Check the lists to be sure to get anything you need before it's gone ~ June 30, 2010.
2) If you're interested in joining my Team, Check out the Mini Starter Kit for only $99 through June 30, 2010.
3) There are only a couple of more days to register for our Retirement Class. Join us for a day of stamping fun! Tuesday, June 8 ~ Reception 9:30am-10am ~ Class 10am - 2pm

Last Chance List & Father's Day Card
Once again, there is a lot going on at Stampin' Up!
You can join my Team with the Mini Starter Kit for only $99, we are coming to the end of another SU Catalog year, and a perk of being a Demonstrator is getting a Sneak Peek of the New 2010/2011 Idea Book & Catalog. Of course, I can't share anything yet, but it is very exciting!
The Last Chance Lists of Stamps, Accessories & Home Decor have been posted on the website. Some of the items that are retiring are on sale as much as 50% off! Grab your Wish Lists to see if any of the items you need are on the lists, and better yet if they are on sale. These items will go very quickly, so don't wait too long, you don't want to miss out.
Father's Day is just around the corner, and I am actually ready ahead of time! I CASE'd this card from the catalog. I was looking to see what they had done using the Eight Great Greetings Stamp Set and liked their sample a lot. I changed the colors and added texture by using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.
The patterned paper is from the Designer Series Paper Pack III Level I Hostess Set, and the ribbon is the 1/2" Soft Suede Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon just turned over. The Happy Father's Day saying is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. The Eight Great Greetings Stamp Set, paper pack and ribbon are on the list of the hundreds of items that are retiring, so like I said before, be sure to check it out!
Have a Great Day & Thanks for stopping by!
