More Upsy Daisy

Here are 2 more cards using the Upsy Daisy stamp set that is on sale through September 30. I really like this one. The flowers are fun, and the sayings are very nice. The first card uses the Chocolate Chip and Kiwi Kiss combo with just a touch of Riding Hood Red. Pretty simple, but not too plain. I stamped the image twice, with Kiwi Kiss, and then used my Sponge Daubers, to add just a touch more color to a couple of the flowers. Just a little trick to add more depth to the design. I used the Ticket Corner Punch to create the tag, and then the Horizontal Slot Punch for the oblong hole to put my ribbon through. The red ribbon is the Riding Hood Red Taffeta ribbon.

I really like the second card. I was inspired by a card in a publication that Demonstrators receive monthly. This time I used Old Olive cardstock and patterned paper from the Winter Retreat Simply Scrappin' Kit. I stamped the flowers in Bordering Blue, and the saying in Old Olive. The ribbon is the 5/8" Grosgrain. See the little clip...isn't just so cute? It is one of the new Mini Library Clips. I tied Linen Thread through the felt flower from the Accent & Elements Flower Fusion, put a brad in the center, and then just clipped it on. I did not glue the flower down, it just dangles...I love it!

Because the clip has quite a bit of dimension, you may want to add a little padding around this card when mailing.
